Impasto | A Poem by Ivan Jenson

Impasto | A Poem by Ivan Jenson Your pink passivity draws me in as I outwardly paint your negative and positive space into the pigment of my perception and then it occurs to me that you are currently on the good side of Mother Nature but someday you will be gently scolded by Father Time but by then I will be primed by black gesso and brushed by a dark destiny and all that will be left of your cursed curves will be this square canvas stretched on the warped frame of now

Fair-Skinned Warning | A Poem by Ivan Jenson I will pick your pockets thumb through your secret stash of intimate details jimmy your locks jangle your nerves and shake the foundation makeup off your face till you stand un-powdered and powerless like a frightened Ford model who has just had her Bob Mackie wig and dress ripped from her famously skeletal frame and who now stands waif-like overpaid undernourished and oh so exquisitely exploited by a world of lights lenses and my hard boiled soft focus obsessions

Exotic Paradox | A Poem by Ivan Jenson

The way that I see it is not the way that you do and the conclusions that I have come to differ from the solutions you have arrived at and the tried and true approach that I take is to you as foreign as the words written by an ancient Asian sage discovered in a paperback at a knickknack shop in Chinatown and that is how I know that the only way to get you to try the Wonton is to recommend the Egg Drop Soup
