15 Heartbreaking Lana Del Rey Lyrics About The One Who Got Away

< ?xml encoding="utf8mb4" ?>

Lana knows all about not being able to move on.

Everyone has that one person they just can’t seem to get over. Maybe you have accepted that you can’t have a relationship with this person, but the feelings are still there — or maybe you keep going back to them hoping things might improve.

There’s something about going through a continuous cycle of heartache with the same person and feeling unable to get over someone that just makes you feel so powerless and out of control.

It’s almost as if this person has you under their spell and there’s no way to break it.

Often times, the one who got away is not always the best to you, yet you choose to look past it because you are so blinded by love.

For me, I’ve given guys multiple chances because I felt so strongly about them and could see their potential, but there were so many character flaws that I waited for them to fix, only to find them incapable of doing so. Although it was hard, I had to do what was best for me and let these people go. You would think this would be easy to do, especially if they are heavily flawed, but it’s hard to let someone go who you still care about deeply.

If you are anything like me when it comes to heartbreak and lost love, you likely take every sad love song you hear and imagine that song as if it were written about your life. You find common ground between the protagonists in these songs and wonder how a songwriter can perfectly describe exactly how you are feeling, down to the smallest detail. For me, that songwriter is Lana Del Rey.

Known for her unique Hollywood sad-core style music, her ability to write song lyrics in a way that captures my exact feelings, when I am unable to fully articulate them myself, is exactly what I need when I’m feeling down. She’s able to put my feelings into a much more beautifully poetic piece than I ever could. Lana Del Rey’s music is especially perfect for me when I get upset over a guy and just want to drown in my sorrows or get hit in the feelings.

Although heartbreak sucks, there is some solace in knowing that you are not alone. If even Lana Del Rey has gone through things …

30 Love Quotes To Keep You Going While You Wait For The Right Partner To Come Along

< ?xml encoding="utf8mb4" ?>

There’s no truly perfect person, but there is a way to find the right one.

There are great places to find your ideal person. If you’re religious the best place could be a church. If you’re a gamer, maybe the best place is MegaCon. Whatever it may be for you there are important steps and factors to take in when choosing — and waiting for — the right person for you.

The best kind of partner is one who is caring and cooperative, it’s simple but true. Having a long lasting relationship needs those two qualities. What if you two fall into a fight, being care and cooperative will lead you to fixing any issue. We may fall victim to the person who causes a lot of drama, but it’s important to get back on your horse and see what do you have to find to start again.

Finding someone who you can talk to sounds simple yet some of us fall flat on it. We tend to go for physical traits rather than internal values and similar likes.

Avoid people who cross your lines. If you’re someone who has religious values than it’s a lot tougher being with someone who doesn’t have those values and vise versa. It’s more likely that a fight or argument will break out again and again so it’s better to find someone with similar values.

It may be tough to find that person, but if you do, don’t rush into a relationship. Take time to build up that connection and see if this person is truly what he/she says he/she is. Good relationships take time, especially when you’re waiting for the right person to come along. If you’re cooking, you wouldn’t open up the oven every second to see if the chicken is ready, righ? That’s precisely why it’s so important to be patient. To wait and let things be what they are. Let the ingredients soak in, and warm it up so it’s tasty. Treat your circumstance like waiting for a cooked chicken.

While you’re still waiting for the right man or woman to come along, take a look at these sweet love quotes about waiting for the right partner, so you can have a forever relationship.

1. Love never runs out.

“Never rush in love for it never runs out. Let love be the one to knock on your door so that

30 Quotes To Help You Deal When You’re At Your Wit’s End

< ?xml encoding="utf8mb4" ?>

Breakups are never easy.

There are times in everyone’s life when life gets tough and brutal, and there’s a point where you are just over it. Your breaking point has been reached. There are steps you can take to make you feel better eventually. There are no quick fixes — feeling it out is the only way.

You need to accept that there’s no going back. No wishes for hope, no stressing about “what could have been” the reality is that it is over.

Deep down we all are like that child who cries to his mom because she got hurt playing on the swing, we all need to let out our emotions. Having times in your day where you can cry, punch a pillow, or just scream will do wonders to your attitude later on. When we don’t let out or emotions we bottle it in and eventually that will pop out no matter what. Whether it is you cutting someone off or you cursing off a loved one.

It’s important to not fall into a victim mentality. When you’re in pain you want the other person who did this to suffer. You want them to pay but that’s just not the reality, the only thing you can control is how you act about it.

Focus on where you are at right now, not where you were 20 days ago. Focusing on the past too much will lead you to now enjoying the present. If you’re out with your friends then enjoy a night with your friends, don’t focus on what happened a while back.

Forgiving the person who wronged you is the last step. It isn’t weakness but the path towards creating a better future for you.

Moving on is much easier said than done. It can take days, months — years even. It will ultimately happen though if you follow those steps, and in the meantime here is some of the best quotes for when you’re over it so you can let go of all of the frustration you must have right now.

1. There’s always a rainbow after the rain.

“When someone leaves, it’s because someone else is about to arrive.”Paulo Coelho

2. Make light out of darkness.

25 Sad Quotes Every Person Who’s Felt Alone Can Relate To

< ?xml encoding="utf8mb4" ?>

You are NOT the only one.

Loneliness can hit at the most random times. You can be out with friends or waking up in the morning getting ready for your day, and then — BAM! You realize you’re lonely.

If you’re like some people and you’re chronically lonely, then that can be telling of a more serious condition, like depression.

When you’re lonely, you feel isolated and empty or dissatisfied with your friendships or relationships. All of us are familiar with this feeling — plenty of us feel lonely after breakups — but if you’re the rare person who’s never experienced it, then should consider yourself pretty dang lucky.

Feeling lonely doesn’t necessarily mean you’re alone. You can have an active social life and constantly be around people and still feel isolated or alienated.

Loneliness strikes if you feel like you don’t have meaningful bonds with others or if you constantly feel misunderstood. Feeling this way sucks, but it’s something that a lot of people can relate to.

To help you realize that you’re not alone in your loneliness, we’ve gathered some sad quotes that perfectly describe the experience of feeling misunderstood or isolated — because just knowing that you’re not alone in feeling the way you do will make you feel so much better and help get you back up if you’re feeling down.

“Loneliness adds beauty to life. It puts a special burn on sunsets and makes night air smell better.” —Henry Rollins

“Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.” —Maya Angelou

“Loneliness is and always has been the central and inevitable experience of every man.” —Thomas Wolfe

“Forget or politics or religion, loneliness is the subject that clears out a room.” —Douglas Coupland

“Remember: the time you feel lonely is the time you most need to be by yourself. Life’s cruelest irony.” ― Douglas Coupland

“Why do people have to be this lonely? What’s the point of it all? Millions of people in this world, all of them yearning, looking to others to satisfy them, yet isolating themselves. Why? Was the earth put here just to nourish human loneliness?” ―Haruki Murakami

“Being alone never felt right. Sometimes it felt good, but it never felt right.” ―Charles Bukowski

“I felt a haunting loneliness sometimes, and felt it in others–young clerks in the dusk, wasting the most …

25 Quotes That Prove Being Single Is FUN & Should Be Celebrated — Not A Reason To Be Sad

< ?xml encoding="utf8mb4" ?>

25 quotes that show you why being single isn’t a bad thing.

The other day I was scrolling through facebook and looking at random blog posts and articles and I saw 3 or 4 articles in a row talking about being single and sad. They talked about how to reel in the perfect guy, how to cope with being single, how to make sure you make the right impression and how to give off signs that you’re open and available.

Part of me wondered why, all of a sudden, being single seen as such a negative thing?

Single life can sometimes be lonely, for obvious reasons. We are social creatures, and we love being cozy with someone we love, which can make it hard to be alone. It’s natural to crave that kind of closeness and intimacy that comes with romantic relationships.

But, honestly, single life can also be one of the best things to happen to you — especially if you’re leaving a toxic relationship or taking some time to find yourself.

Being single doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you or that you’ll never fall in love. It just means that you’re content on your own and able to take time for yourself.

Being single means you can eat half a gallon of ice cream without sharing, and you get to prioritize your own wants and needs without having to make compromises. What’s so bad about that?

The truth is that I don’t want a man in my life if I don’t think he will genuinely make my life better by being a part of it. I would rather stay single and content with the life I’ve built for myself than deal with a relationship that doesn’t add to my life in a positive way.

There is something to be said for taking the time to just enjoy your life and be happy on your own.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t understand why people say that you have to love yourself before you love someone else for a long time. But, when you’re happy with who you are and the life you live, you have a much more solid base walking into a relationship when you’re ready. And the other thing is that just because there’s someone around that you COULD date, doesn’t mean you should.

Staying single isn’t a bad choice.

Being single isn’t a bad thing, …

25 Quotes About Loneliness Everyone Who Doesn’t Like Being Alone Can Relate To

< ?xml encoding="utf8mb4" ?>

We’re all scared to be lonely.

We all get lonely sometimes. At the moment, it seems like nobody else ever feels that way but you but it’s important to remember that loneliness is completely normal and we all experience it.

Loneliness is just something that isn’t talked about enough. Nobody ever really mentions it. We all go through the feeling of being alone, but everyone’s too busy trying to put up a wall of happiness for people to see instead of addressing their loneliness. In reality, nobody’s as happy as they say they are.

If we were all more open about our feelings, the world would be a lot different. There would be less lonely people floating around in the universe right now.

Loneliness happens when you feel like you’re completely alone. You could be physically alone or just feeling like you’re the only one who’s going through a certain scenario, problem, or emotion. When you’re lonely, you feel like nobody else understands.

There have been many times that I’ve felt lonely for many different reasons. I feel loneliest late at night when the rest of the world is fast asleep and I’m wide awake.

Loneliness hits a lot of people the hardest after a breakup. You may feel like you’ll never have anyone again, but that’s not true. It takes time, but you’ll move on and get used to being an independent person again.

Loneliness also happens when we bring negativity in. If you change your perspective on things, you might feel less lonely and learn to embrace being alone. It’s good to enjoy your own company sometimes.

If you’re feeling like you’re the only person who’s struggling with something, go online and search the web. What helps me feel less lonely is watching YouTube videos of people who have gone through the same things I’m experiencing. It makes me feel like there are people out there who can relate to what I’m going through.

Regardless of what you’re going through in life, we all feel the loneliness creep in every once in a while. It’s a feeling we can all relate to, so here are 25 quotes about loneliness to sum up what it’s like to feel alone.

1. When you’d rather have good people in your life than a lot of money.

“Loneliness and the feeling of being unwanted is the most terrible poverty.” — Mother Teresa

25 Life Quotes To Help You Cope & Heal When Someone Passes Away Unexpectedly

< ?xml encoding="utf8mb4" ?>

Life can throw some mean curveballs.

While we come to understand from an early age that death is just a part of life, it doesn’t make losing a loved one any less painful. Death is hard. It is even harder when it comes unexpectedly.

When we receive the news, we pray that it is just a bad dream we can wake up from. There are often no words to describe the amount of pain we’re in, and there are not enough hugs in the world to comfort us.

It is normal during this time for people to wish for just one more moment with their loved one. One more moment to tell them how much they love and appreciate them before they are gone. But we must come to accept that this is not possible.

We must instead focus on the bright side of things. We must stop and think about how much we gained just by knowing and having loved that person.

It is too easy to let this pain consume us and stop us from moving forward and focusing on our future.

We cannot spend time focusing on the things we can’t control. We cannot control death.

All we can do is make sure that the person’s memories live on through us and that we do what we can to make them proud. Part of this requires us to accept our life for what it is, both the good times and the bad.

The bad times help shape who we are, even if we can’t appreciate it in the moment.

When you find yourself struggling to breathe…when you feel like all hope is lost…when you think that it will never get any better, remember that this, too, shall pass. You won’t always feel this sad.

Below are 25 life quotes to help you cope with losing someone you love without warning.

1. Accept that you cannot control grief.

“Grief is like the ocean; it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.” — Vicki Harrison

2. They will always be with you.

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day…unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.” — Unknown

3. Find comfort knowing that in the end you will be reunited.

“And I will
