Make Windows 10 Load apps fast during startup in windows 10

Once the Windows 10 Os starts, a 10 seconds delay is by default set. This 10 seconds delay is provided so that the system perform important system tasks before loading  desktop apps which starts eating memory. But, if you have a PC with Good Configuration, preferably SSD drive , then you may disable this delay and speed up the startup process of Windows 10 Computer.

1.  Search Regedit in the windows 10 Taskbar search.

2. Click on the Registry Editor icon  to open Registry editor.

3. Once the Registry editor Opens Up browse to the following location.

  1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  2. SOFTWARE
  3. Microsoft
  4. Windows
  5. CurrentVersion
  6. Explorer
  7. Serialize

Note: If you are unable to find Serialize Key once you expand explorer, then do this.

Do a right click on explorer and then Choose New > Key and name it Serialize.

4. Now, select Serialize and in the right side , right click on empty space and choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value

5.  Name this new key StartupDelayInMSec 

6. Now, Double click on StartupDelayInMSec  and Set the Value data to 0.

Thats it , you have disabled Startup Delay.

If in future , you do not want this and want to re-enable it, Just delete StartupDelayInMSec.

6. in File name section Provide the name Fixer.bat.

7. In file type Choose all files from Dropdown.

8. Save this file on Desktop.

9. Now, Click and Run this file Once.

Your Problem will get Fixed.

Fix 2 – Check the Service Manager

1.  Search Services in windows 10 Taksbar.

2. Now, Open Service manager.

3. Now, in the Service manager window, just check if following services are running .

Diagnostic Policy ServiceMake sure that Startup Type should be Automatic.
Diagnostic Service HostMake sure that Startup Type should be Manual.
Diagnostic System HostMake sure that Startup Type should be Manual.

4. If the Services are not Running, Just Click on Start to start these services and Change startup type as above to each of the services.

Note:- If you Click on start to any of these services which are not running, some users may experience the error given below.

Windows could not start the Diagnostic Service Host service on Local Computer. Error 1079: The account specified for this service differs from the account specified for other services running in the same process

To get rid of this Follow the steps given below: –

1.  Right Click on the particular service which threw the error and click on Properties.

2. Now, Click on the Log on Tab.

Fix COM Surrogate has stopped working in Windows 10

Method 1 – Add dllhost.exe to the Data Execution Prevention Exception

1 – Press Windows key and R Key together on your keyboard to Open RUN command box.

2 – Now, write control and hit enter.

3 – Now, View by Small Icons.

5 – Click on Advanced system settings from the left menu pane.

6 – Now, click on Settings under performance section.

7 – Select Data Execution Prevention Tab

8 – Now, Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:

Now, the next step differs for 32 Bit or 64 Bit Version.

To check if you have 32 or 64 Bit , just do this.

  • Press Windows key and R key together.
  • Write msinfo32 and hit enter.

Case 1 – If your Windows PC is 64 Bit.

Browse to  C:\Windows\SysWOW64\dllhost.exe

Case 2 – If your Windows PC is 64 Bit.

Browse to  C:\Windows\System32\dllhost.exe

11 – Now, Double click on dllhost.exe to select it.

12 – Now, Click on Ok and then Apply.

Method 2 – Re Register DLL through CMD Admin.

Try to re register vbscript.dll and jscript.dll through Command prompt. Here is the method to do this.

1 – Open command Prompt as admin.

2 – Now RUN these two commands one by one in CMD.

regsvr32 vbscript.dll regsvr32 jscript.dll

If the problem still persists , Move on to next method.

Method 3 – Disable Thumbnail Previews

1 – Search file explorer Options in Windows 10 Taskbar Search.

2 – Now, click on View Tab

3 – Check the Option saying Always show icons, never thumbnails

4 – Click on Apply.
