His second studio album released on December 13.

Harry Styles has sung his way into our hearts — first with the famed band One Direction and now with his own solo career. Styles’ self-titled debut album was released in May 2017 with singles such as “Two Ghosts” and “Kiwi”, and now, after headlining his first concert tour, Harry Styles: Live on Tour, Harry Styles’ second solo studio album, Fine Line, is set to release today, December 13, 2019.

Raised in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire with his sister Gemma Styles and step-siblings Mike and Amy, Harry Styles loved singing and performing even as a child — Elvis Presley covers were his favorite.

In his youth he formed a band called White Eskimo, and they ended up becoming popular with the local music scene — even winning a local battle of the bands.

Following a suggestion from his mother, Styles auditioned for the seventh season of The X Factor. He went in as a solo artist, singing a cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely”. He was passed on to bootcamp, but didn’t make it past that round.

Four other competitors around the same age as Harry Styles — Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik — also failed to progress in the show, but instead of sending them home, judges Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger placed the boys together into a group. To this day, both parties take credit for the idea of the band, which Styles named One Direction.

One Direction ended up placing third in The X Factor and the band ended up signing a recording contract under Simon Cowell with Syco Records in January 2011. Their first single “What Makes You Beautiful” was a chart topper later that same year, reaching number one on the UK Singles Chart in September of 2011. Piggy-Backing on the song’s success, the group released their first full studio album, Up All Night, just two months later, and became the first album by a British group to reach number one in America.

Harry Styles dated Taylor Swift around the time of the release of One Direction’s second album, and many fans speculated that the two wrote songs about each other after their break up.

Around the same time, Styles ended up moving into the attic of one of his producers, Ben Winston, while he was looking for a house of his own. This spawned the idea for a show called Happy Together that Styles would later executive produce, starring Daymon Wayans JR and Amber Stevens West.

The third album released by One Direction was the first to feature a single — “Story Of My Life” — co-written by Harry Styles himself. Midnight Memories was the best-selling album of the year, and shortly after they released their fourth album, Four, which would be the last to feature Zayne Malik before he parted ways with the band.

One Direction released one last album together in 2015 called Made in the A.M. before they decided to take a hiatus. Styles is credited with suggesting the break while still recording the album — he feared that they were overloading their fans with music, adding that perhaps the fans themselves needed a break.

Now out on his own, Styles singed a recording contract with Colombia Records. Prior to the recording of his debut solo album, Harry Styles and his collaborators went on a writing retreat in Port Antonio, Jamaica. The first single, “Sign Of The Times”, hit number one on the UK Singles Charts, and number four in the states.

That same year, he debuted his acting skills in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk. Nolan later said that at the time of casting, he was unaware of just how famous Styles was, and that he won the part based on talent and not name recognition.

Harry Styles has co-written songs for other artists to perform; he co-wrote Just “A Little Bit Of Your Heart” for Ariana Grande and — along with Megan Trainor — he wrote “Someday” for Michael Bublé.

Styles leant his personality to The Late Late Show With James Cordon, serving as a guest host in December 2018. He also hosted and performed as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live in November, where he performed two singles “Lights Up” and “Watermelon Sugar” from his second solo album Fine Line.

Fine Line was released today, and based on what we have heard already, we can’t wait! Take a look below at our collection of the best Harry Styles quotes, music videos and best song lyrics from his two solo albums, Harry Styles and Fine Line:

1. Golden — Fine Line

“Golden, golden, golden as I open my eyes
Holding focus, hoping, take me back to the light
I know you were way too bright for me
I’m hopeless, broken, so you wait for me in the sky
Brown my skin just right
You’re so golden
You’re so golden
I’m out of my head, and I know that you’re scared
Because hearts get broken.”
— Harry Styles, “Golden” / Fine Line

2. Watermelon Sugar — Fine Line

“Tastes like strawberries on a summer evenin’
And it sounds just like a song
I want more berries and that summer feelin’
It’s so wonderful and warm
Breathe me in, breathe me out
I don’t know if I could ever go without
I’m just thinking out loud
I don’t know if I could ever go without
Watermelon sugar high.”
— Harry Styles, “Watermelon Sugar” / Fine Line

3. Adore You — Fine Line

“Walk in your rainbow paradise
Strawberry lipstick state of mind
I get so lost inside your eyes
Would you believe it?
You don’t have to say you love me
You don’t have to say nothing
You don’t have to say you’re mine
Honey I’d walk through fire for you
Just let me adore you
Oh, honey I’d walk through fire for you
Just let me adore you
Like it’s the only thing I’ll ever do.”
— Harry Styles, “Adore You” / Fine Line

4. Medicine (Single)

“Here to take my medicine, take my medicine
Treat you like a gentleman
Give me that adrenaline, that adrenaline
I think I’m gonna stick with you
Here to take my medicine, take my medicine
Rest it on your fingertips
Up to your mouth, feeling it out
Feeling it out
I had a few, got drunk on you and now I’m wasted
And when I sleep I’m gonna dream of how you
If you go out tonight, I’m going out ’cause I know you’re persuasive
You got that something, I got me an appetite; now I can taste it
We’re getting dizzy, oh, we’re getting dizzy, oh
La la la la la You get me dizzy, oh, you get me dizzy, oh.”
— Harry Styles, “Medicine”

5. Sign of the Times — Harry Styles

“Just stop your crying
It’s a sign of the times
Welcome to the final show
Hope you’re wearing your best clothes
You can’t bribe the door on your way to the sky
You look pretty good down here
But you ain’t really good
If we never learn, we been here before
Why are we always stuck and running from
The bullets?”
— Harry Styles, “Sign of the Times” / Harry Styles

6. Cherry — Fine Line

“Don’t you call him ‘baby’
We’re not talking lately
Don’t you call him what you used to call me
I, I confess I can tell that you are at your best
I’m selfish so I’m hating it
I noticed that there’s a piece of you in how I dress
Take it as a compliment.”
— Harry Styles, “Cherry” / Fine Line

7. Falling — Fine Line

“I’m in my bed
And you’re not here
And there’s no one to blame but the drink in my wandering hands
Forget what I said
It’s not what I meant
And I can’t take it back, I can’t unpack the baggage you left.
What am I now? What am I now?
What if I’m someone I don’t want around?
I’m falling again, I’m falling again, I’m fallin’
What if I’m down? What if I’m out?
What if I’m someone you won’t talk about?
I’m falling again, I’m falling again, I’m fallin’.”
— Harry Styles, “Falling” / Fine Line

8. To Be So Lonely — Fine Line

“Don’t blame me for falling
I was just a little boy
Don’t blame the drunk calling
Wasn’t ready for it all
You can’t blame me, darling
Not even a little bit, I was away
I’m just an arrogant son of a b-tch
Who can’t admit when he’s sorry
Don’t call me “baby” again, you’ve got your reasons
Know that you’re trying to be friends, know you mean it
Don’t call me “baby” again, it’s hard for me to go home
Be so lonely.”
— Harry Styles, “To Be So Lonely” / Fine Line

9. Sweet Creature — Harry Styles

“Sweet creature
Had another talk about where it’s going wrong
But we’re still young
We don’t know where we’re going
But we know where we belong
And, oh, we started
Two hearts in one home
It’s hard when we argue
We’re both stubborn
I know, but oh
Sweet creature, sweet creature
Wherever I go, you bring me home
Sweet creature, sweet creature
When I run out of road, you bring me home.”
— Harry Styles, “Sweet Creature” / Harry Styles

10. Lights up — Fine Line

“All the lights couldn’t put out the dark
Runnin’ through my heart
Lights up and they know who you are
Know who you are
Do you know who you are?
Shine, step into the light
Shine, so bright sometimes
Shine, I’m not ever going back.”
— Harry Styles, “Lights Up” / Fine Line

11. She — Fine Line

“Nine in the morning, a man drops his kids off at school
And he’s thinking of you, like all of us do
Sends his assistant for coffee in the afternoon
Around 1:32, like he knows what to do
She, she lives in daydreams with me
She’s the first one that I see, and I don’t know why
I don’t know who she is.”
— Harry Styles, “She” / Fine Line

12. Sunflower, Vol. 6 — Fine Line

“Sunflower, my eyes want you more than a melody
Let me inside, wish I could get to know you
Sunflowers sometimes keep it sweet in your memory
I was just tongue-tied
I don’t wanna make you feel bad
But I’ve been trying hard not to talk to you
Sunflower.”
— Harry Styles, “Sunflower, Vol. 6” / Fine Line

13. From the Dining Table — Harry Styles

“Woke up alone in this hotel room
Played with myself, where were you?
Fell back to sleep, I got drunk by noon
I’ve never felt less cool
We haven’t spoke since you went away
Comfortable silence is so overrated
Why won’t you ever be the first one to break?
Even my phone misses your call, by the way.”
— Harry Styles, “From the Dining Table” / Harry Styles

14. Ever Since New York — Harry Styles

“Tell me something, tell me something
You don’t know nothing, just pretend you do
I need something, tell me something new
Choose your words, ’cause there’s no antidote
For this curse, oh, what’s it waiting for?
Must this hurt you just before you go?
Oh, tell me something I don’t already know.”
— Harry Styles, “Ever Since New York” / Harry Styles

15. Kiwi — Harry Styles

“She worked her way through a cheap pack of cigarettes
Hard liquor mixed with a bit of intellect
And all the boys, they were saying they were into it
Such a pretty face, on a pretty neck
She’s driving me crazy, but I’m into it, but I’m into it
I’m kind of into it
It’s getting crazy, I think I’m losing it, I think I’m losing it
Oh, I think she said ‘I’m having your baby, it’s none of your business'”
— Harry Styles, “Kiwi” / Harry Styles

16. Canyon Moon — Fine Line

“Gotta see it to believe it, sky never looked so blue
So hard to leave it, that’s what I always do
So I keep thinking back to a time under the canyon moon
The world’s happy waitin’, door’s yellow, broken blue
I heard Jenny saying, “Go get the kids from school”
And I keep thinking back to the time under the canyon moon
I’ll be gone too long from you
Staring at the ceiling, two weeks and I’ll be home
Carry the feeling, through Paris, all through Rome
And I’m still thinking back to the time under the canyon moon
I’m going, oh, I’m going home.”
— Harry Styles, “Canyon Moon” / Fine Line

17. Treat People With Kindness — Fine Line

“Maybe, we can
Find a place to feel good
And we can treat people with kindness
Find a place to feel good
I’ve got a good feeling
I’m just takin’ it all in
Floating up and dreamin’
Droppin’ into the deep end
And if we’re here long enough
They’ll sing a song for us
And we’ll belong
Maybe, we can
Find a place to feel good
And we can treat people with kindness
Find a place to feel good.”
— Harry Styles, “Treat People With Kindness” / Fine Line

18. Fine Line — Fine Line

“Put a price on emotion
I’m looking for something to buy
You’ve got my devotion
But man, I can hate you sometimes
I don’t want to fight you
And I don’t want to sleep in the dirt
We’ll get the drinks in, so I’ll get to thinking of her
We’ll be a fine line.”
— Harry Styles, “Fine Line” / Fine Line

19. Girl Crush (Single)

“I got a girl crush
Hate to admit it but
I got a heart rush
It ain’t slowing down
I got it real bad
Want everything she has
That smile and that midnight laugh
She’s giving you now
I want to taste her lips
Yeah, ’cause they taste like you
I want to drown myself
In a bottle of her perfume
I want her long blonde hair
I want her magic touch
Yeah, ’cause maybe then
You’d want me just as much
And I’ve got a girl crush.”
— Harry Styles, “Girl Crush”

20. Two Ghosts — Harry Styles

“Same lips red, same eyes blue
Same white shirt, couple more tattoos
But it’s not you and it’s not me
Tastes so sweet, looks so real
Sounds like something that I used to feel
But I can’t touch what I see
We’re not who we used to be
We’re not who we used to be
We’re just two ghosts standing in the place of you and me
Trying to remember how it feels to have a heartbeat.”
— Harry Styles, “Two Ghosts” / Harry Styles
