Sarojini Naidu Was An Indian Political Activist And Poet. She Was Born On 13 February 1879 In Hyderabad, Telangana. She Was An Important Figure In India’s Struggle For Independence From Colonial Rule. She Work As A Poet Earned Her The Sobriquent ‘The Nightingale Of India‘ Or ‘Bharat Kokila‘ By Mahatma Gandhi Because Of Colour, Imagery And Lyrical Quality Of Her Poetry. She Was Appointed The President Of The Indian National Congress In 1925 And Later Became The Governor Of The United Provinces In 1947, Becoming The First Woman To Hold The Office Of Governor In The Domination Of India. She Died On 2 March 1949 At The Government House In Lucknow Due To Cardiac Arrest.

सरोजिनी नायडू एक भारतीय राजनीतिक कार्यकर्ता और कवि थीं। वह 13 फरवरी 1879 को हैदराबाद, तेलंगाना में पैदा हुई थी। वह औपनिवेशिक शासन से आजादी के लिए भारत के संघर्ष में एक महत्वपूर्ण चित्र थी। वह एक कवि के रूप में काम करती थी, उन्होंने अपनी ‘द नाइटिंगेल ऑफ इंडिया‘ या ‘भारत कोकिला‘ महात्मा गांधी की वजह से उनकी कविता के रंग, कल्पना और गीतात्मक गुणों की वजह से अर्जित की। वह 1925 में भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष नियुक्त हुए और बाद में 1947 में संयुक्त प्रांत के गवर्नर बनी, भारत के वर्चस्व में गवर्नर का पद धारण करने वाली पहली महिला बनीं। उनकी 2 मार्च 1949 को लखनऊ में सरकारी घर पर कार्डिएक अरेस्ट के कारण मृत्यु हो गई।
