50 Quotes To Relate To When You’re Catching Feelings For Someone New

So there’s this cute guy…

We’ve all had a crush on someone at one point in our lives. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably been too scared to confront them and tell them how you feel.

I used to keep my crushes super top secret. I wouldn’t even tell my friends because I was scared word would get out! I was always worried about what my crush would say if they knew I liked them.

Some people are the opposite. They don’t let fear get in the way. For example, every time my friend had a crush on someone, she would confront them about it. Sometimes she would walk away embarrassed. Other times, to her surprise, she’d find out that her crush actually liked her back.

Whether you go up to the person you like or not, having a crush on someone can be totally consuming. You probably think about them all the time and freak out on the inside when you see them or talk to them. The butterflies in your stomach, the smile that appears on your face when you see their name pop up on your phone… you know the feeling.

To sum up that giddy, nervous, exciting feeling, here are 50 quotes about having a crush on someone.

1. When he’s not yours, but you don’t want him to date anyone else.

“I’m afraid to lose you and you’re not even mine.” — Drake

2. When you see him and freak out.

“When I see you, I admit I start to lose my grip and all of my cool.” — Unknown

3. When you keep liking him more and more.

“Some crushes just never went away. They built, instead, into something permanent, obsessive and all-consuming.”  — Maya Banks

4. When it feels good to have a crush again.

“It’s nice to have a crush on someone. It feels like you’re alive, you know?” — Scarlett Johansson

5. When you think about him all the time.

“If I had a single flower for every time I think of you, I could walk forever in my garden.” — Claudia Adrienne Grandi

6. When you call him by a code name so he doesn’t know you’re talking about him.

“Creating a nickname for your crush, that only you and your friends know.” — Unknown

20 Healing Quotes For Heartbreak To Help You Get Over Your Crush When They Are Moving On Without You

The pain of seeing someone you love with someone else is awful, but survivable.

If you’ve ever had a crush, you know this feeling. That person you like is suddenly going out with someone else. You can’t believe it. After giving yourself all those pep talks in the mirror to ask them out, some guy/girl swoops in and steals your crush away. So now what?

Having your crush taken by someone else is a weird feeling. It’s like having the partial pain of a breakup without actually breaking up with someone.

You tell yourself that they’re the one for you as you find your gaze constantly drifting toward them, but at the same time you can’t seem to build up the courage to tell them your feelings. Then, when it’s all taken away, you feel devastated.

There are a few things you can do to get past this. One would be to find another crush (which is easier said than done). Another way would be to shoot your shot anyways and hope for the best (I wouldn’t recommend this). You could also try just going on a date to maybe at least get your mind off your previous love interest.

Regardless of which route you choose to take, it’s clear that it’s time to move on. Continuing to obsess over someone isn’t going to change anything except turn you into a stalker. Instead, try to figure out what your next best option is. Of course there are a few things you should do automatically, like, don’t suddenly be cold to the person you liked because that sends the wrong message. Just be yourself.

Now if none of those work for you, there’s always the words of wisdom of the ones who came before you (or just the people with more experience). Listen to the wise people who said these quotes about heartbreak, because they’re going to help you get over that crush.

Take a look at the healing quotes below that talk about the kind of courage it takes to move on from love so you can get your head back in the game and find someone even better.

1. Losing what you thought you loved can be beneficial.

“Sometimes we must undergo hardships, breakups, and narcissistic wounds, which shatter the flattering image that we had of ourselves, in order to discover two truths: that we are not who we

May be it was love

Now we had to go by bus to a remote area from main town where the senior section was located. The first day I came to know my class section was changed, I belonged to section c and most of the students in that section were new to me .

On the third period our chemistry teacher asked a question which I don’t remember but I do remember the strong and sweet voice of the person who answered it . He was the boy with 6 fingers . He was long, smart and everything. But the thing was he was sitting in back row so I couldn’t see him even though his voice was something I remember till now.

He came from a village near the school , by cycle. Next day he sat almost next to my desk , and I could now totally see him . I was good at studies so not much but I was well known in my class and he knew me ,that was what I thought. It was very new to me , new feeling .that desire to see him first after entering the class and searching him in the lunch time .

It all started during our English classes .I don’t know why but we like use to stare at each other and smile all the time .we never talked to each other , only used to ask some random bookish questions. His smile was like rain from heaven . I had never stared some one like that before . I mean I had some crushes but none of them were so strong.

Mostly the times when our English teacher used to read novel , everyone used to listen and only we used to stare constantly.

He used to blush everytime he talked to me and me to.

Even after all this neither he got the courage to express his feelings nor I . May be he did expressed but I ignored .It was the end of class and we were waiting for our class to go out and I did heard him saying I love

Is it My First Love?

Excerpt: And that is how we started talking and became friends. I wonder if I love him or is it just an infatuation?

His name is Antariksh and he is in my class. I do not like to share my feelings but Preeti, my best friend is aware of him and what I feel for him. Preeti says he likes me too because she has noticed him looking at me while in the assembly.

She also noticed that his best friend teases him in my presence. But, he never attempted to talk to me. With every passing day, I was getting attracted towards him. I desperately wanted him to talk to me. I wonder, whether the day will come when we both confess our liking for each other?

Few days later, my classmate, Manav called me and asked me if I like Antariksh? I was awestruck, what was that? While I was thinking, he added, “He is a nice guy, Raina, you both can be a match. “

Oh My God! What was it? Is it for real? Am I really going to talk to Antariksh? I stared myself in the mirror, no Raina, you don’t look perfect. And I headed towards the parlour, got my eyebrows done and a face clean-up. Do I need a trimming at the moment? Umm…leave it, my trimmed hair will give an impression as if I am over-excited. Yes, I am but, I should not show this. Oops! I did not call Preeti. I should tell her about that. She will be super excited like me.

Next day, when I reached school, Manav was absent. And it was Friday. It became tough for me to spend the weekend with this disappointment.

Saturday was gloomy for me. I was pissed off with Manav’s absence on Friday. Mom took me to the market for some shopping and guess what, I saw him. Yes, it was him. I knew he lives nearby but I never thought that we’ll crash like this. He even smiled at me. And I pretended that I did not

My First Crush

Excerpt: I was completely unknown to the word ‘Crush’ at that time. I was in my first grade when this boy in my class named Sharvil stole my heart.

Romantic Short Story – My First Crush

Our crushes keep changing after every three to four months or maybe even longer or shorter than that. But guys, I hope each and everyone of us remembers our first crush! I find myself blushing whenever I come up with this phrase ‘First Crush’. I find myself going back to the time when i was six, yes because at that age I had my first crush. I was completely unknown to the word ‘Crush’ at that time. I was in my first grade when this boy in my class named Sharvil stole my heart.

Sharvil had the perfect ‘Dream boy’ looks. Brown haired, Pale skinned and with a mesmerizing and an infectious smile that would skip my heartbeat. I would find myself always staring at him in the class and would always find a chance to sit beside him in the class. And whenever I would talk with him, I used to wear that stupid, kiddish smile. You can imagine!

One day, during our lunch break, Sharvil sat beside me and nothing else could make me go all way dreamy! He had come there to show me some magic trick with the fingers. The magic trick which he showed was not quite skilled but there goes my crush-moment, I started clapping like an idiot and acted as if I was overly overwhelmed just because it was HIM coming to ME  to show the trick. So you can imagine the amount of control he had on my mood.

Once, Sharvil had come to my house to play with my brother who studied in the same class as we. He went upstairs to my brother’s bedroom and the whole time I had my ears stuck to his bedroom door! I was so whipped.

I left the school after my first grade and got an admission in another school. As time passed, I eventually forgot Sharvil as he was replaced my other ‘fluctuating’ crushes. After a few years I had completed my tenth grade and i decided to become an engineer in future. I even registered for a JEE training center. I came to know that there were many of my friends from first grade who attended …
