World Milk Day is celebrated worldwide on June 1st
On June 1st, 2001, Milk Day became a worldwide celebration. The origins of worldwide celebrations may be traced back to the United Nations (UN). The FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) of the United Nations, in particular, has been in charge of planning and publicizing World Milk Day across the world.
The FAO suggested a worldwide Milk Day more than two decades ago to celebrate the significance of milk and its role in our world.
Furthermore, this day was intended to bring direct attention to the milk business and advertise the numerous activities associated with it. In reality, the dairy business provides a living for over 1 billion people worldwide!
Given that milk and dairy are consumed by over six billion people globally, it’s no wonder that there was a need to commemorate this nutritious, delightful beverage!
Many folks may wish to mark June 1st on their calendars. Milk plays such an important part in the world that it deserves to be honored with flair!
